also i was told that this was helpful so i will post this as well. it shows the process i used to get to my final pages (all digital). i started by taking the thumb and blowing it up to fit the page. then, over that i did ruff pencils. super ruff. then i inked those, where i made most of the decisions for the little details in each panel.

ReplyDeleteIn the page with the top three panels where she slices the head/hands off the guy, the sword slice seems a bit jumped. Had to go back and forth a bit to figure out what the middle panel was.... maybe adding a forth panel with her going for the sword before it's sliced? Or combining that with her taking off the purse... thoughts?
I can't wait to see the color on these! Any ideas in terms of lighting?
